If all your inputs are correct it should be close enough to shoot for validation. Velocity may only be in the ballpark depending on the type of chrony, but you'll pick that up when you compare suggested vs actual come ups.
    Go shoot it.
    Cheers

My load using the 162 gr ELDX chrono at 2914 fps and is zeroed for 200 yards has a verified drop of 18.4 inches at 400 yards. Haven't tried it at 600 or 800 yds yet but it looks as if you are on track .

What’s the scope you’re using @bigbear ? Most wont dial “moa” ( 1.05 in per moa) exactly. Many are IPHY ie 1.00 in per 100 yards. In which case you need to increase dial up by 5%. Others may dial less than IPHY

@chainsaw the scope on it is a vx6 3x18 at the moment. This dial up stuff is all new to me
Will end up with a vx5hd on it hopefully.

I've have a few of vx 6 scopes now as the first few fogged up but anyway, all of them moved around .27 or more per click so once had figured that out just adjusted the speed between 50-80fps to match.

VX6 is damn fine scope, to my eyes (which aren’t great) can’t see difference between non HD and HD glass, having owned both. You can check you dial up by marking a tall cardboard box with marks at every inch & half inch from zero to 11 inches. Place the box at exactly 100 yards from the scope erector turret. Best to fix the rifle in a portable work bench and align your zero at “0” inches at top of box. Dial up 10 moa and check to see where your zero now sits. If it’s 10.5 in then it’s dialing moa, if 10.0 in then it’s IPHY. And it might not be either. Repeat a couple of times to get an accurate calibration factor.
