I followed stagstalkers recipe, in my 21 inch rem mag, did a ladder test from 63.5grns-65.5 grains reloader 23 and 162 eldx. All loads were accurate but settled on 65grns as it shot a 1 hole group at 100m. Tested it at 200 which gave me a 1/2 inch group at a speed of 2900fps.

    Hi @Boxton

My A7 likes just about everything I've put down it so far. I've got a good load with each of the following: 150 ELD-X, 162 ELD-X, 162 ELD-M, 175 ELD-X and the 160 TMK.

2217 has been the best powder I've tried but I have also had success with 2213sc and 2225 as well.

All of those are at mag length as well.

As for charge weights, I've had variations in batches of 2217 so I won't give you a charge weight start low and work up, you'll find sweet spots easy as.

Interesting thread. I have a T3X in 7mm RM. Limited by mag length obviously. I have tried RL26 - could get sub MOA fairly easy and even 0.5 with half mil jump (less than mag length) and 67.5gns doing 3000, but found the velocity spread was a bit more than I would have liked (30 fps). If trying, reduce by 10% and work up.
Also tried RL22, way more stable for velocity spread, i have ended up with 68gns RL22 doing 3160 with 6fps variation for group 0.5 inch group 100 yards, Nosler brass, fed primers, 140 Nosler. accubond. If trying, reduce by 10% and work up. Interestingly, Nos;er partitions also showed good promise (0.6) Looking for ward to testing on game next couple of weeks.
