I know that the amount of powder to load is roughly between 65-70 grains.

But I was wondering if anyone who is using the same powder and projectiles, has an exact number of how many grains of powder to load , as I am only home for 3 days over Christmas where all my reloading gear is , and I won’t have time to be heading out to the range and testing a bunch of different loads.
    Cheers!
    Greetings @CP270,
Not the answers you were hoping for however it is possible to speed up the process from the long ladders pursued by some if you have or access to a chronograph. By loading a couple of rounds at start load and chronographing them you can validate or otherwise the data that you are using. Mostly I use the Hodgdon on line load data as I mostly use the ADI powders. If your velocity is close to the predicted velocity after adjusting for your barrel length you can move up closer to max and shoot a group or two with that. if this is OK then you are done. Load up a small batch and use them for further testing and or hunting. It really is that simple if you have a chronograph.
For most cartridges that I load for this is all that is needed as long as there is decent load data. For some where the data is scarce or contradictory a bit more testing is needed but this is rare.
    Regards Grandpamac.
