Enjoy the increased recoil, muzzle flash and blast then.

Run it over the chrony before and after. Be interesting to see results

mine has a 19inch barrel (shortened before i got it) at that length it needed to be suppressed just to loud. good overbarrel and is now my go to rifle still getting 2800+ with out too much load work yet.

Doing that to a 7mm Mag is just plain wrong, maybe you could engineer a swap for 7mm08 or better: 308 or similar, as for projectiles, at the sort of ranges you indicated, Sierra Prohunter would be great, cheap, accurate in any rifle and not fussy to find a good working load.

Swap it for a short range rifle. 7mmRM is a 26 inch barrel item, preferably.
