Going to put the chrony on the next batch... just seeing if any accuracy potential. QL say this should've been around 2980 fps (it was bang on predicting speed with 2217). 64.5gn N560 should be around 3080 - so really hoping the groups shrink...

Running 162amax, 54gn 2209 in my 24" 7Saum. 2970fps and 1/2 moa. Have two bottles of 2217 but thinking about swapping them for 2209.

That is outstanding... Quickload predicts 59gn 2209 to achieve that velocity in mag length.

My 7mm SAUM is coming together and looking for loads (projectiles, powder) to use. I've had 7x57's 280, 280AI and just sold my Brno 7x64 so starting again. The rifle will be a Mod 7 and I would really like to use the Barnes TTX 120's or the Swift 150's does anyone use these loads in the 7MM SAUM in a Mod 7, do the Swifts mag load and what is a good all around powder. I have 2209, 2213sc N560 W760 also 3031 and 4895 which is probably unsuitable. Thanks

2217 goes well for me with 162g Amax abd 150 SGK.
