That should do the job nicely. The velocity is about what the Hodgdon data would suggest from your barrel and the accuracy is excellent. Well done.

The high shot was a fouling shot after cleaning and cooling from other 6 string shots, goes to show it’s a good idea to put one through before you start hunting if it’s clean!

Also if you go the the Hodgson website and click on loads and pistol you will find 308 and 7-08 loads for shorter barrels, the us consider 15 a pistol so there are some interesting loads to look at.
