    Pumped out some of these for my son's workmate with 43gr 2209. Extremely accurate @ 400m. He is very happy. 87gr SST still use 43gr 2209. My son shot spiker @200m with these and it punched thru both shoulders and carried on.Spiker just folded on spot.Keen to see this brass after using 45gr a few times. 2209 can be a real hottie when loaded up.

    Mate, I've pulled the rounds at 45 and gone with 44 until I see the results.

    Ha, not keen on that!!

    I'm gonna move up from 42 any way but only if it doesn't shoot with that load. I even loaded some a touch longer at 42.5 and will see how that works.

    Seems like there is a sweet spot from what I read around 42.5-43 so as long as my shooting is up to it (could be a long day) then I'm really interested in the results.

    No chrony so will be guess work with the speeds.... I'll have to save for one as I'm keen to dial up with the scope I have.

    Just seen this i load the 87vmax with 40gn 06h for 3000fps from 16in barrel great accurate load all touching at 100 for what its worth

    Thanks mate. I only have 2209 at the moment. Still not been able to get out..... bloody work getting in the way!

    44.4g of 2209 in my .243 but that's with Sierra 85g HPBT, ripper little combo.
