I settled on 2206h after a bit of a lateral journey. I found the European load data Micky posted but didn't have or want to buy them. Mention was made of 358 win loads being sucessfully used and there's piles of data on that.
Brought a box of Norma ammo chronied some , pulled some to get an idea of fill height and charge weight then looked at case capacity versus the 358 which is virtually the same.
I also had a look at some 9 x57 data which was obsolete using 2206
2206h and 2208 are recommended for the big brother the 9.3 x62 and the 358 so it seemed logical to try.
I loaded up a small ladder of 2208 and 2206h and shot them over the chrony and settled on 2206h as I have the most of that.
I'm still about 50 fps behind the factory with 47.5 grains and might step it up a little but its going ok as it is still I would like to crack the 3000 ft lbs mark and another half grain might get me there.
Primers still have nice rounded edges not that primer condition is a great tool but if they're not flat to the edge of the pocket you still have a little room to move around in..
