    Accubonds are the bomb

Two 125gn 30 cal accubonds recovered from sika. One at 120m the other (in the caliper) at 30m. Retained weight was 89gn and 75gn respectively. Both caused massive damage. MV 2990fps.

They've held together nicely huh. How much penetration?

Got a couple boxes of accubonds I need to work a load up with for my 280. Once I finish a couple boxes of sst's.
I'm drawn to the mountains and the bush, it's where life is clear, where the world makes the most sense.

Are these the new LR ones?
You are also a conservative reloader going by your velocities.

EDIT: DUH!!! Just read again. 125gr, .308 and long range should not be in the same sentence.

We are in danger of becoming Calibre twins! It is an old dunger Jasen. It is the longest I have ever owned the one rifle.

Penetration was good. Both were shot quatering front on and projectiles passed through the front shoulder bone and recovered from near the hind quaters. They go straight through if broadside.
I used 140gn ABs in the .270 for years with great results too.
