It's possible, just not with cheep ammo.

A better shooter than me (and forum member) has shot repeated .3 Moa groups with the 22" truflight and matched bolt that's on my varmint ar with 77gn smk handloads.
A longer tube may drop your ES and tighten up the groups even more-and more load development than the one primer and powder option could as well. Loading to alloy mag length rather than Magpul could also help.

It's doable if you really want to try

Get them from Wayne via Tardeme, still at $175 plus postage.

Its a single loader platform to shoot at Trentham so mag length doesnt matter. 24 or 26inch barrel is more to pick up as much velocity as practical. Primers are Fed205mar at the moment with ADI brass and BM2. I'll probably move to lapua brass though, but I need to get a barrel first and assemble a dedicated upper.

Enough of the TR/Palma shooters wont buy a truflight that I'll pass on them as well.

I have a heap of them and use for close range 3 gun. Shot plenty of deer n stuff out of the machine with them as well. They go alright. $175 for 1000 is not too bad a deal I reckon.

I load them light at 23.5grns of BM2.
Only use them for close range 3 gun but they shoot under an inch at 100.
They cycle the rifle fine when i balanced it for a faster load as well.
