Thread: adi ap100 in 38 spl

im currently hand loading my 357mag with AP100 but have a few 38 cases here so thought id load them up I have some little cast 160gn swc bullets I want to use cant find any data for ap100 in the 38spl and don't want to buy new powder

dose any one have data ??

8.7gn is min load in 357mag with 9.0gn being max with a 160 gn if anyone is smart enough to work out a load based on that

also adi list IMR SR4756 in there equivalents chart for ap100 a check in the imr sight revealed data for a 160gn bullet being 4.8min-5.3 max
so I cross referenced using 357 data as I had both sets of data (SR4756 and ap100) to see how different they were

SR4756 min 5.0gn max 6.5gn
AP100 min 8.7gn max 9.0gn

so a lot of difference to much to be using SR4756 data with AP100 powder??
