Thread: ADI powder shortage... Is 2209 turning into the new fairy dust?

I had 2 lbs each of 300mp and RL26 turn up at the shop today. If it doesn't go off for some reason I should never have to buy anymore for quite a few years.

Even different batches of the same powder can have pretty significant changes. Speak to any fullbore shooter and they will tell you about batch differences in 2208.

In my experience Hodgdon seems to have slightly less variation compared to ADI.

AP 70n on the out too for those who use it for loading pistol, local gun shop owner had close to a kg in his personal stash and sold that to me to keep me going for now

I got the last 500g from reloaders for 2209 - yes like fairy dust...
I believe there is one left at Gun City on the North Shore in the whole of GC too.
