Ive noticed this too with 308 federal powershok Deer243. The old box look shorter /fatter than the new projectile. The longer looking ones are in the new style box , the old shape in the earlier box. Going to check zero tomorrow . Ill see if theres a difference on paper.
I did a quick google so it may not be true . Powershok now uses a Hornady jacketed soft point ( ?). Im pretty sure they used to use a Speer Hotcor (?) . The new bullets are 1mm longer than the old (overall length).That will explain my shit shooting,haha.
nothing wrong with the hornady projectiles.....might not be quite as soft as the speer...but they are still good accurate pills.
