    Allient 300-mp powder for .22Hormet and K-Hornet.

The go to powder for most in these calibers is Hogden Lilgun. Good powder. There are others but Lilgun seems to be the most popular.

I have stumbled onto some 300-mp which is a magnum pistol powder and so far have had better results in the K-Hornet I have opposed to Lilgun.
With the projectiles I intend to use I so far have faster and more consistent velocities for less powder which is a good thing.
After using uncle google I see a couple of mentions of it being used in the hornet. Reviews were not that great but I already tried it.
Not much load data either but sensible workup doesnt take much time.

I was getting 2850 fps with a Hornady 55gr and lilgun and now around 2900 with 300-mp and almost a grain less powder and still half a grain below my max load.
    40gr Vmax at 3300fps.

All tested over a lab radar.

Just a matter of interest for those using either the Hornet or the K version and want to have a tinker and maybe want something new to try.

I can't get the 40gn Z Max to group in my Brno, but get good groupings with the Sierra 45gn projectiles. Still waiting for some LilGun to arrive at my place
