Thread: American Eagle 50gn .223

I shoot it through a Ruger Hawkeye and have great accuracy, slightly better even than the American Eagle 50gr hollow points that were previously available.
My rifle has a 1:9 twist.
I use quite a lot of it shooting wallabies and it shoots much better in my rifle than the Hornady Training ammo that my mates all use and it comes in brass cases. The only thing is if you want to shoot something bigger remember it is only a 50gr projectile that blows up quick.
The only downside I have is the silly little packets it is packed in. To get around that I just throw the packets away and put the ammo in a MTM or plano plastic ammo box.
