    Anyone running a 12" 308 with 150's ?

As above, I'm toying with the idea off cutting my 308 back, thinking of running 150 BT's or the like.

Just wondering what sort of speeds ya getting with your powder - pill combo ?

Whatever you do don't run a DPT on it, seen some failures that could have been potentially really bad with shorter barrels. chuck something a bit heavier on if you can.

Yeah I hear ya mate, a LW can will be fine if using slow arsed factory ammo & only going to shoot too 200 y, but yes not if wanting to "pump it up" & boost the speed, gotta be sensible with powder burn rates in sub 16" barrels aye

I used to run a Kimber Montana 7-08 with a 13' & Shultz n Larsen ( so basically DPT type suppressor ) worked find n dandy for a hunting rifle, very pinky sounding though so wouldn't go goat shooting without ear protection

Scott Trail was running one as short as ten some time back.i remember article in one of the magazine's about it. Huge amount of dialling needed but still accurate.
