    AR 2207 lead loads

I understand that 2207 can be used for lead projectile rifle loads, does anyone have a link or an idea of what to put behind .303 gas checked 200 grainers please. I will be doing research other than this but its a starting point.

    Greetings @johnd,
My old Lyman Manual lists 21 grains start to 24 grain max of IMR4198 for the 213 grain in the .30-40 Krag. AR2207 is very close to IMR4198 and the .30-40 Krag is very close to the .303. The velocities were 1,554 and 1,769 fps respectively. These loads were not pressure tested so work up slowly.
    Regards Grandpamac.

I know a lot but it seems less every day...

Due to the exorbitant cost of reloading components, warning shots will not be given.

Lyman lists 20.0 t0 26.5 grains of 4198 with a 200 grain cast bullet the 311299, 2207 is slightly slower burning in my experience in my .222 Rem
Hogdgon H4198 is more than likely 2207.
