    Barnes higher max loads?

How close is ADI AR2209 to IMR4350?

for a 270 and 110gr Hornady SP - IMR site says max is 57.8
ADi 2209 for 110gr says max is 57.0

And for Barnes TTSX 110gr .277 the "Barnes" site says max is 59.0 grains of IMR4350 - is this right and due to the type of bullet?

I have been using 57.5 grains of 2209 with the 110gr TTSX and thinking I was pushing it a bit, maybe not??
Being over gunned is under rated.

I found the same thing with my 7mm Rem Mag using AR2213SC, for a 150gr cup and core bullet the max stated is 62gr, with a 150gr TTSX, barnes states a max of 68gr but I have settled on 65.8gr for my optimum load (always start it minimum and work your way up checking for pressure signs), they say it is due to the bands on the TTSX they produce less pressure.

AR2209 is H4350 (not IMR4350). Id still not substitute AR2209 (H4350) for IMR4350 and would suggest to work up, even just ladder test to gauge pressure.

I would agree with ttsx you can get away with a bit more powder for some reason. In my 300wsm iv jist done 168ttsx and up to 69.0 grains of rl-17. Not showing any obvious signs of pressure. Dont need that much tho 68.0gr is accurate and more than fast enough
