not where I shoot them they wouldn't unfortunately they would keep traveling for some considerable distance once exited the hare

I've seen barns with up to 150" thou jump, try at 60-70 first and jump out to 100 if that dosnt work,
I don't use them anymore, I rather a partition or accubond, give them a try, and decide for yourself.
If you need penetration, they are one of the best choices, not much in NZ that might grind you into dust, or give a 300-400 stich lesson, for pissing it off.

Have'nt used Ttsx on any of the local deer - yet.

I've been using 110gr TTSX in my 308W going around 3200fps - 2mm of off the lands.

I've shot Kudu(470m hart/lung area), Oryx, Bluewildebeest, warthog, Blesbuck and Springbuck, Impala, Zebra.

On many of the animals I were able to recover the bullet - perfectly mushroomed. Weight retention was in the high 90%.

On one of the Springbuck I experienced some issues(head shot at +/_302m). The buck was standing broughtside and I overestimated the wind - hitting it just forward under its eye. The bullet passed right through - it did expand though.
Instandly blinding it.

It did not go down, but as soon as it presented another shot I shot it through the hart. (Would not recommend TTSX for head shots)

Meat damage was always low comparred to conventional bullets.

I dont like lead in the meat Im intending to eat, so Ill keep on using TTSX bullets.

Used 110ttsx in my .308 and they killed well at bush ranges,not sure on speed but not excessive.recoil was very low compared to 150g cup an core and I seated them deeper than usual according to the Barnes load data.

Get some berger vlds if you want to play, they will give the gay red tips a run for their money for sure!

haven't had much joy with VLD's in my rem mag it has made me a little reluctant to try them, as good as others seem to get them going.

I seated them to mag length...have shot 2 chammy with same shot...200ish and one stag at similar range..... dont over think it...just use them as load in mag and keep your eldx in pocket for longer shots.... they work well up close and personal...

yup but I get lucky often enough, and know when to back off.....the rest is all a steep learning curve

dannyb ive done a bit of work with the 110ttxs and the 110vmax very sim BC in a ruger American the barrnes are good to 1800fps like you have researched not shaw on jump (about 1 to 1.5mm) below data us at own risk
57.5g ADI 2209 110vmax OAL 81.50 11mm group this is a very accurate load
57.5g RL 17 110vmax and 110TTXS OAL 81.50 17mm to 20mm group

The Barnes recommended OAL is a good start point. I got 110gr TSX up to 3350 fps from my 22.4" T3 with good accuracy. I've heard of folks struggling with the Barnes when they try to load them close to the rifling.

I haven't tried them on deer as I use the excellent 110gr GS Custom's.

Barnes seem to like a bit of jump.

@Brian uses 110 grn (or near that) TTSX out of his 6.5.06 I think at 3.3K and they flatten deer out past 300 yards.

Ive used the Barnes LRX 129 grain in my 270wsm and they worked great out to 475 yds at 3,250fps. They have a higher BC than the TTSX and seem a bit more expandy.

If you want to try an interesting bullet the .270 130 grain Federal Trophy Bonded Tip are excellent and expand well at all the ranges I've used them out to about 400 yards. I would load a pic of an expanded projectile if I could....but they end up as the classic mushroom.
