I have one of each.

A bushpig model 7 7mm08. Pushes the 160gr TMK at 2430fps from a 16inch barrel. 40.0 gr 2208
Crunch the numbers on that.

Then I have a 284win rem 700. Running the 160gr TMK at 2830fps from a 20" barrel. 56.2gr Superformance.

Crunch the numbers on both. I use my 284 as a all round tops rifle and my 7mm08 as a bushpig go through tight bush rifle.

The 160gr TMK works well out of either rifle from 50y to 300y

I also run a general purpose 308 with the 168gr TMK doing 2680fps from a 20" barrel. Burning 44.5gr 2208.
