Slow day in Geraldine yesterday? Here are a few oddies to round out your list.

2.7 mm and 3.0 mm. These were a couple of semi auto pistol calibres from before WW1. There was also a 4.25 mm.
.14 calibre. I think one was called .14 Bumble bee or something.
There are at least three .22 calibres using .222, .223 and .224 and .228 diameter projectiles.
.236. The 6 mm Lee Navy cartridge was called .236 by some but the projectile was reportedly .243 diameter. A .236 diameter projectile would be something else. More research required on this one
7.35 mm. Here is your .29 calibre in the 7.35 Carcano. .298 diameter projectile so .29 calibre.

Apparently there is a .230 Ackley, a slightly larger version of the .228 Ackley Magnum. It was developed in the late 1950's to get around game laws that required a minimum calibre of .23 for hunting deer. People had been using their .220 Swifts to ping over Whitetails. Imagine that. So there you are Micky there is at least one and probably more .23 calibre cartridge.

What about cartridge length to go with that smallest I can find is the 3 mm kolbri at .32 inch, the longest the Jeffery 475 no 2 nitro at 3 and a half inches. The cartridge itself was over 4 and a quarter inches.
The 50 bmg is bigger but it's not a sporting round so it don't count.

I’ve got an article From 1975 on the .230 Ackley Short based on .250 savage case. Then there’s mention of the .230 Ackley and Ackley Magnum Based on the 228 Ackley Magnum case. Then there’s a .230/6mm Remington, .230/243 and finally the .230 Ackley belted Express using a swaged belt .30-06 case. The short pushes a 70gn Spitzer at 3500fps wonder what the belted express would do.
