Thread: Can anyone tell me what this is?

This thing came with all my reloading gear I bought second hand but I have no clue what it is or what it's for lol, can anyone shed some light?

It is the stand that you clamp an AEG drill into so you can use it as a drill press. Other makes of drill may well also fit into it.

I'll probably give it a bit of a clean up and see if the drill I've got fits in it but I'll keep you in mind if I decide to get rid of it.

Maybe they used it as an arbor press..... for wilson hand dies etc..... thats one reason i bought one plus side is you can use it as a drill stand.

Yep, A drill press is handy for a heap of things in the workshop

My guess is that it looked vaguely like other reloading equipment so they bundled it together into the box.

I vote for a bottle capper maybe a device for home canning. It's missing the attachment that clamps into the ring and some sort of stand / tray that slots into the base.

How big is it ?

can you post the dimensions of the collet?
