Why wouldn’t you own a trimmer
Lee ones will only cost $20 ish with one length gauge
    I trim every shot
Just back to max trim length
Really? I hardly ever do. I always chamfer inside and outside though.

    I'm the same.

I check case length before every loading using the Lyman EZ case gauge (quick and easy), and trim if overlength. Some brands/batches of cases it takes a few firings before they need trimming, and some are overlength after the first firing.

This is all I use. Including postage I think that's like $50 total. I had one of those "worlds greatest" trimmers but the bit wore out. Done way more cases on the lee kit and it's one of the items they have that works really well
Look bloody great. Buy one of these.

Nah the lee ones go to the recommended trim length
I trim towards the max case length a few thou under

The thing is every time the expander comes through the case it stretches
So every time you reload it gets longer intill finally it reaches max case length and you need to trim
And then you start all over again
So surely it is more consistent to trim that little bit off every time
Your still trimming the same amount your just taking a tiny amount off rather then alot in one go
    Just my thoughts

Whether that consistency is worthwhile will depend whether you are a long range target shooter or a bush hobbit.
I'm more of the latter, and my trimmer takes a bit to set up which is a pain when reloading several different cartridges.

    SFA. Would make zero difference.

Personally I don't have one but a mate swears by his.
I trim every time to. No need to keep track or measure, just trim. But you don't have to.

It’s probably not remotely worth it for me these days as im only hunting not competing with them now
But i have nice gear so why not
Only adds 15 minutes per 50 rounds

My only thought watching that is that I wouldn't use the inside/outside deburrer in the drill, too easy to take too much off the inside lip & bugger all work to do that by hand. Fwiw.

You mean the Worlds Finest Trimmer. Just get another HSS bit. Easy to buy.
