Nah I have the trimmer, but not the die. Will get the die in shortly as its only a tenner from the states and I want a decapping die anyway

I have the Lyman trimmer. Works a treat and comes with a big range of collet sizes.

sorry, I can't recall exactly, but I think it was around $ 200 incl the cost of a 243 trim chamber ... will vary of course with the exchange rate ..

I have a Forster. It has a pretty good cutter with a universal chuck (no shell holders required). If you are getting donuts in the 9.3 you will want to cut them out from the inside not outside.
I dont think a standard trimmer will do this.

I have a Redding 1400XT with an Titanium Nitride Cutter. It was the old mans before I got my hands on it so 30 odd years old and still looks like new and works great.
    Deadeye Dicks - Redding

If I were to buy another it would be the Redding 2400 with built in micrometer.

I am not doing large batches of brass (from 25-50 per session), so speed trimming for mass production is not a concern.

I've found the cheaper "Lyman Acculine" is fine & have a "outside neck turner with 6 mandrels" as I had issues with neck thickness when using 308 brass in the 260 rem, all worked to spec.

$123 postage included. I just bought a mk1 model 'cause I reckon it would be more accurate without extra moving parts. I might buy the mk2 at a later stage

thats awesome. I have found the trick with this is to measure your prepped case sets . I bump the shoulder back and then sort by Case length ( and this usually gives consistent weight as well) and then set up the trimmer to trim to the smallest case.

I have recently started using mine a way which was not intended - namely I have a lockable case base that goes in my rechargeable drill - and the CASE turns in that . I Hold the trimmer IN MY HAND

this method is a LOT better than mounting the WFT in the drill, as it means you can also chamfer the inner and out edges of the case mouth at the same time - and give the case a final clean with a rag soaked with a tiny quantity of abrasive (I used pore paste)

If I could only have one Lee product it would be the Lee Delux quicktrim. Its fairly cheap and does the length, and inner and outer chamfer in the same operation.

Dis-advantage is a $20 holder per caliber which adds up when you do a few calibres.
