Cast Lead Thread ?

I cast a heap of 38 cal 300 grain bullets during the week to make up this dummy round to try on a dummy chamber I cut
Wanted to make sure my chamber reamer was on spec for the bullets I want to run in it

It's a Stevens 44 1/2 re barrel in 38-55
These bullets are a bore rider type

Very nice mate I'm running the same style in 500gr in my 45-70 the first driving band is engaging the rifling upon chambering.
it is very consistent and accurate they are subsonic but still it seems unless I hit bone they will run the length of a deer and just split a boulder behind it.
