    Ccibr4 vs 400

Always used the br4 just figured hay it’s only maybe 2c more for match primers

Id run out and had to get some more the shop only had 400’s so just grabbed one packet of 100 to keep me going
Am I likely to see much Difference
Or is it the same as federal 205 vs 205m which is just a more consistent version of the 205?
    Cheers

The BR4 is a thicker cup than 400 primers. I don't use the 400 in anything higher pressure than the 22 Hornet. I've had a few problems with higher pressure cartridges and the 400s, e.g., 223Rem, the firing pin punched a hole right through the primer.

There is some excellent information on primer differences and dimensions in this article.
