Thread: Cheap projectiles

Was driving past guncity and dropped by... As you do... Hey are getting rid of all the old boxes of projectiles, some are only half a dozen in a box others almost full now I can fill my nice shiny brass cheers @MassiveAttack adi powder arrives in auckland end of this week, expected into chch end of next week!!

Cant recall what I paid but was about half of what it should have been, heaps left in the box. Could have taken the same amount again in 224 and 30 cal. Bit of everything in there, big box of lapua 338 that went up to the counter while I was there

Yeah the priciest thing i got think bout 70 for the full box,shoulders to a few hares. Might even work on the whitetail!

Problem with that idea, 308 has a 6.5-20 scope on... Do have a spare scope to swap but 223 is set up already and it's a bit lighter. 308 makes a big hole in those little bambis

Meant the 55 gr 223 ones on top, ive shot plenty of fallow and one red with those

you will have to give me a report on your findings with the varmint grenades, I hear conflicting reports so be good to hear from someone first hand. I hear the are good on small game but some guys cant get them to group very well.

We shall see, got to work out my standard load for the 308 with 150gr sst which is what I have most of. Soon as this weather settles down I can go down to the farm and have a play. Brass is in the oven drying out today
