    Digital calipers

Anyone know some reso priced calipers that last a while. Not looking to spend hundreds on mitutoyo though not getting very good use out of several cheapies.

I've been very happy with my kincrome ones I got couple of years back. From memory about $70 at trade cost?

I second this. Have measured mine consistently against my work Mitutoyos and they’ve stayed accurate for the last couple years.

TradeTools is good. I use a fair amount of the Insize tools, and have been very happy with them.

Buy a set of Old school Verniers with the dial on them. Available in metric or inch. Really Easy to read and use, Cheap-ish and no batteries to go flat and leave you without measure? Here's some in NZ for $67.00

Some digital electric verniers don't like being close to Fluorescent lamps and other electro magnetic interference, Workshop transformers, welders etc......

I use a pair of 150mm kinchrome ones at work. Not fancy but they are accurate against the mitutoyo verniers and micrometer. Have been using them for 9 years so far.

Bought one of the green ones from trade tools. Gotta be better than the ones I've had that go bung well before a battery runs out.

Used to use analogue ones growing up for gross measurement and then micrometers when machining.
