ELD BCs - Any Litz data?

Anyone know if there's any Litz data for these? I like to run his G7 for what I use.

Namely 143 ELDX and 147 ELDM in 6.5.

Here is the mobile site for you Ballistic Coefficient - Hornady Manufacturing, Inc you will find alot of info there
In short you don't "need" Litz data due to them using radar for the new pills.

Same, until after seeing them change their fist listed data for a lot of the new ELDs when they first came out. Anyway I was after any Litz data if it was around. Do you have money on it being the same? Be interesting

To what range have you tested them thus far mate? Are you finding the published BC not legit, or are you simply looking to get more accurate proven data before pushing them way out?

Not all radar's are not created equal.
The Hornady one is not capable of gathering all the complex data that some more expensive, multi-frequency radar systems with tracking heads are like Litz uses.

Hey @Gibo I have the AB custom drag curve but it won't tell me the exact figure.

The AB G7 BC for them are:

    143 0.315
    147 0.335
    Warm Barrels!

Ah cheers bro that'll be Litz and co.

    Hornady has them at:
    143 0.314
    147 0.351

    Reasonable difference in the 147.

After aligning themselves with the same range at which other bullet makers test or report their BC they changed the number on the box hence the link I gave you.

Ah so Hornady use a cheap version of a Doppler, what model was that again?

If you check that link at the top of the thread you would see their data correlates

Infact if you average the 3 BC ratings (147) you get from the Hornady website you arrive at... 0.334666

Hornady apparent use a radar capable of measuring 600yds down range. Made be the same company that is producing LabRadar but the Hornady unit is massively more powerful than the LabRadar.

    Other facts:
Litz thinks highly of the LabRadar and sells them.
Litz has just had a tussle with Hornady over their Hornady 4 DOF Ballistics Calculator.
Hornady are putting great stead on their BCs verified by their radar.
I have never believed a lot of manufacturers' high BCs (including Hornady's) and have relied on Litz to come along with real life proven data - I guess what the OP was after here.
When will Litz do the goods on ELDs - that's a good question given his paper he wrote attacking their calculator. If he is a nasty guy he would seek to disprove the claimed BC figures. He may have already done the analysis and has not published. Something that could happen if the BCs prove to be correct. I also don't think he is a nasty type.
