    John you can buy a strap on gel pad for the shoulder, getting one for my 577s and 45/70s. Steel butt plates tend to bruise after 30 or so rounds and why put up with the discomfort?

    Yep good way to develop your flinch! and as you get older you get wiser. Go fishing and make yourself useful!!!!!!!!

    Exactly. Was too quite needed some more noise on the ears so I knew I was shooting something
