    Film 37 - 260 Handloads: 147gr ELD-M

A bit of an ADD film showing the initial results of my ELD-M handloads with the new 147gr in the Sako .260

Interesting you free recoil your rifle. I've always had better groups with my left hand on top of the scope especially with a pod on concrete, YMMV.
    Keep us updated with progress.

I wouldn't call it free recoil; I control the rifle with light loading of the shoulder into the bipod. The left hand controls the elevation with the rear bag. But can't argue with the results (when I don't fuck it up). e.g. the first round of the day w/143gr load

Think I've hit my 'word hearing limit' for today. I'm buggered.

I take it the A-Max were seated OK without the new bit in the seating die?
There are only three types of people in this world. Those that can count, and those that can't!

Yes, the Amax seated fine with no damage - just the new ELDs were damaged by the standard seater stem.

That was pretty serious marking on the bullet until you changed the stem. What neck tension are you running? Are you using Redding S type dies?

Can't remember the neck tension, like .004 or something? I think a .290 or .291 bushing. Yes Redding S bushing die with TiN bushing and no expander.
