Does anyone know where I could lay my hands on one of these presses????

Out of stock but it may still be worth calling Julian to see when he will have more.

It'll be a long wait because the Forster factory has at least 6 months worth of orders to fill BEFORE any get this far south.
I was sort of hoping that there was a good used one looking for a good home????

What are they going for these days?
Still have all the original bits on mine. Haven't had to replace anything. I remember it costing a fair bit back in the early 90's.

Deadeye Dicks is advertising one for $580. Whether they have one in stock is another matter.

I can assure you that DED hasn't 'cos I've had one ordered for OVER 6 months and was told that I'd have it by Xmas. ( I presume that they meant THIS xmas??).

I contacted Forster directly & found out that:
1. They had a 6 month backlog of orders, and

2. DED had not put an order in for these presses until I put the screws on them for an ETA back in late October!!!!!

So much for the promised delivery for THIS week!!!!

Just the usual web site teaser that quite a few of them are good at. Thankfully the better outfits link their stock levels with their websites.
Mate has received similar "by Xmas" promises from the same outfit for another type of item which even if there is stock Stateside there is no way he will receive it in the next few days.

I'm glad it was nothing personal!!! eh??

I'll certainly be looking elsewhere to buy one of these presses. Even direct from the US if I have to.

Typical of them.

The press was on sale recently in the US, in fact my buddy over there grabbed one. Can't remember the price but it was pretty damn cheap.

His one comment was it somewhat lacked feel while seating bullets. Wouldn't worry most guys though.
