Been looking at micrometer seating dies and individually they ain't cheap and hard to get for some calibers.
Found the above universal system that seems pretty good.
Anybody got one? Pros & cons?

Have looked at the frankford universal die, it is a very nice bit of kit.....still on the fence about if I want one.
I think even though it's "universal" I tend to set my dies up for a load and then leave them set up. So i would need one for each caliber if i wanted to leave it set up, this of course means it's not longer a cheap option.
The other side of the argument is that if I leave my die set up once it's where I need it, do I need a micrometer adjuster ? Sure it's convenient but it's also not going to be adjusted once it's set and locked in place.
It's a want, I'm just not convinced it's a need.

Definitely a want more than a need.
My issue is I like to tinker and like having a couple of different loads for each rifle. Also starting to load for a few mates so theres more playing around.
if you are using Hornady dies you could bet the micrometer seating adjuster and while development of the load happening tinker away and once the load if finalized set the std seater to length. the micrometer can be used with all your Hornady dies. I've got one and quite like it.
not necessary but a nice little bit of kit.
