The best way to do this is to have a rifle that you can't buy amo for, , I`v just loaded up 20 45-70 rounds with my paper patched 420gr lead cast bullets , just have to test them out, . Take it one step at a time and be careful, have fun.

I received a package from our own legend that is Gadgetman today. What can I say ? The good buggers on here are simply amazing

Had a bit of an issue with the scales refusing to zero, but sorted it with the addition of some lead shot.
    Thanks again @gadgetman

    Silly question time.
Do I need to have 2 different shell holders, one for the press and one for the hand primer, or are they interchangeable ?
    Lee primer. Lyman press.

No idea but my guess would be no, I needed a different one for my hornady case trimmer from my lee press though

The shell holder for the "PRESS" are interchangeable but I don't think the ones for the handy priming are.

Hope I was of some help.

Rubbish. The powder sticks to it once you've given your hot brew a stir.

I found that with ADI powders and a consistent action on the thrower, with it set just below your load weight, it only took half a dozen sticks of powder to come up to weight using the trickler.
