yip they are longer and harder...that said I use same load for mine as its not a super hot load to begin with.

Thank you everyone for the help. This forum and you good buggers are great!
Yes I use it in the .223 for a load with 70 grain bullets. 25.3 grains give under an inch accuracy at 100 metres and velocity of 2990 fps in a 20 inch barrel. (Although I have not chronographed the 55 grain bullets with it, I would use it happily with 55 grain bullets too and expect to get higher velocities than 2208, which it is often compared with.) In my experience reloading with this powder in a couple of different cartridges, it lives up to its book velocities.
If I could find some I would have more....
26gr of 2206H with the Sierra 55gr boattail soft point doing 3125fps from an 18in barrel.
Used 2206H in 308 as well with some mild success.
And 2208 is I think a larger grain?? Makes for settling 2208 into 223 cases a pain in the ar$e - and seating the 60gr VMax consistently is something I thought would have been straight forward - WITH a micro adjusting seating attachment - crushing almost every time and way off max load! 2206H may yet be my next go-to as well...
try tapping the side of the case a dozen times with your teaspoon,it may settle the grains down a bit better,it works in bigger cases well...drop tubes, yeah not so much.
