No pressure signs so could drive them a bit harder but want to be kind on the brass as I only have 50 sticks
Tested out the hammers today.
This first on is a yearling red at 240 yards, shoulder shot.
Dropped it on the spot
Exit wound
Not a huge amount of damage to heart and lungs
The hammer did enough damage to be happy with it
The next was a hind at 342 yards, lower neck shot.
She was still kicking around when I got there. I think this shows that like all monolithic coppers the hammer needs more resistance on impact. There is less margin for error compared to a fully frangable lead core projectile but it is nice to know that I am not feeding the family lead burgers.
In general I am happy enough with its performance to keep testing it out. I would imagine a big bodied stag would feel the wrath of the hammer in a big way. Would probably be a great Roar load
Great solid copper projectiles are the way forward![]()
Pretty hard for one bullet to do everything though

You are back on @Kiwi Greg I have missed your imput
Looking at the drop chart its a pretty sweet load with the 10 power scope with a couple of hold over points out to 500 yards. Makes for a real handy point and shoot all round rifle
