    Same here grandpamac Make sure they are clean, and bit of dry graphite lube on the moving bits - good for decades of reloading.

    Horses for courses huh.

    For the average beam scale and hunting, you could get away with weighing a couple of decent Berger projectiles to get a good feel for how accurate the scales are.

    Thats certainly good enough. The small differences seen are usually attributable to tarnishing of some of the metal. For reloading .01 grain is no error at all. Weigh a few projectiles and see what you get
