    I get lucky

My brother was down for a few days so I spend one of them being a tourist and a brother. Driving thru a medium large town we ducked into a sports store, looked at some mini knives( cute as but eye watering price right there, 350 bucks.) I spotted some 22 hornet ppu ammo, price of 55 bucks 4 fifty rounds, I said I'll take all you've got, two only. Any primers, hahaha he says. Yes sir times are bloody tough. Oh yes, I asked how much for 300wsm ammo, well over a hundred per twenty and he had none. Good luck to all hunters, a rifle with no ammo is worthless. Glad I'm practising with my recurve every day.

Its good having a rumage around in some of the out of the way shops. I recently came across a few hundred rounds of 223 fmj pushed ro the back of the shelf at $15 a box so bought the lot, pulled the fmjs and put some sp back in.
