    I doubt you are getting any tumbling I've run the Berger stability calculator on it and at 600fps it has a stability factor of 2.47 any thing greater than 1.5 is stable, at 1050fps it is 2.98.

    It may well have been a slight optical illusion caused by the angle of entry, as the shot was slightly down hill.

    What sort of accuracy are you getting? My two .308's both shoot 5 shot groups of 1/2" at 50 metres you should be getting 1" groups at that distance at least

    I haven't been trying to shoot for accurate grouping yet, and to be honest, I am not that fussed so long as it hits within an inch of where I aim it at 50 yards. I don't intend it for anything outside of that on animals..
    So far, my test loads have been remarkably spot on, even with me on the trigger

    After a few hundred low recoiling loads your trigger control should show a big improvement
