I'd be looking at ADI Trail Boss and 110gr 30M1 bullets.
Any of the slower pistol/shotgun powders would need some sort of packing in the cartridge to prevent Secondary Explosion Effect.
This could be very 'nasty' for shooter and rifle.
I've got ADI's 2016 Reloadng data in my shed, so will check tomorrow and PM you with what I find.
Haven't got any 110gr bullets - lightest I've got is some 125gr, coming from @Timmay.
    Cheers

I'm throwing 110 Barnes TTSX'S out of my rifle at about 2700. They are longer than cup and core pills (but much more expensive) so give you a better seating option if you want to go close to lands. Yet to kill anything with it but it's good to 300yards when looking at the numbers.

You can pick any pill you like (150s are fine) and start at 60% of the maximum rated h4895 (adi 2206h) load and work up from there. Might lean away from a SP at lower velocity and go A-Max or SST.

Caveat: H4985 MUST BE LISTED AS POWDER OPTION

Was testing a lite load last week, using 125gr sierra prohunters and 41gns of 2206H, giving about 2400fps. Makes it about the same as a 30/30 really.

H4895 is 2206H by another name

the can might drop the recoil enough anyway try your normal ammo you use if its till to much try the 125gn pro hunters at 2400 like barefoot says I shot some goats with that load through his 308 un suppressed the other day very mild and easy shooting or maybe they are just to little for 308 maybe a cheap 223 or 7.62x39 would be a better option and a good reason to tell the boss you need another gun aswell

I have mod 7 in 223 that all 3 kids have shot deer & goats with the boy is 5 and shot first deer this roar the girls are 7&9 and moved up to my 260 because we lost afew deer with 223 . just sold sako 260 and got a Forbes 260 that I can't bring myself to suppress. so mod 7 308 will be the new kids rifle.

I would be looking at light explody bullets that will still expand and fragment at reduced velocity like 125 NBT and speer 130hp and possibly the 90grxtp pistol bullet if really on a reduced recoil rampage, the 90gr xtp run subsonic with a full length barrel and suppressor makes you wonder if it actually went off. terminal effect is not great tho like any subsonic but a full case of trailboss would probably yeild around 2000fps at a guess (I was running 5.6gr subsonic) and if it still shot well and I see no reason it shouldn't could be an effective round to say 150y and very little recoil.

I would be looking at the first two tho for your application if a 223 wasnt doing the job.

you beat me to it....both those pills are very very good on lighter animals, the speers are handgranades
50 grns of 748 isn't a hot/potent load but works very well, going a bit lighter in powder will make them lighter still.

125 pro hunters be the way in that case or find another model 7 barrel in 243 ? if you don't mind spending money but I think 125gr sierra prohunters and 41gns of 2206H, giving about 2400fps as barefoot says though a supressed rifle will hardly move as they certainly worked on the goats to 150m maybe 200 I was using his unsuppressed Winchester model 88 leaver action which is quite a heavy rifle though but still think your supressed mod 7 would recoil bugger all with that load

With dri verman, cast lead over appropriate bluedot or trailboss load gives you 22 speed with virtually no recoil, ideal for paper, or close range medium game hunting. Lost track of how many goats and hares a 180 gr flat nose cast bullet has cleaned up.

i made up a light load for my son with 150grn. Prohunter at 2345fps in a suppressed .308W - light recoil, plenty of power up close with a couple of 300yrd bang flop shots - still use that load now on the Goats / Fallow - i checked out the power levels with balistic software to get enough energy get the job done, anymore is counter productive for young shooters.
