    Loads for 300wsm

Just bought a Kimber Montana in 300wsm and was wondering what loads you guys have for your 300wsm
I will be loading up some 150 tsx and also 180ttsx anyone try any loads for them? Paid $1770 for it with Talley light weight mounts and Leopold vx3 2.5-8x32 hornady dies and 50 pieces of brass I though good deal
    Cheers HH

i have used 168gn ttsx in my tikka 300wsm. 67.9 gn. of rl-17 and seated at 2.81" they like a bit of a jump i only found real accuracy when i dropped them back to this. gave me .5 moa at 100m and 3220fps.

I use the 130gr out of my 308 but i don't have the big game you guys have. In saying that it has dropped two mature red hinds with one shot.

Let us know how your rifle shoots. I have been interested in one of these for a while. In my brothers Tikka T3 I used 64 grains of 2208 behind a 168 amax for 2975 fps out of a 22 inch barrel. Very accurate.

Have just started working on a load for my tikka 300wsm, 165 Interbonds 65gn 2209 in Winchester Brass with Federal Magnum Primer. Started at 2.900 coal and have been playing with seating depths. Around 3000f/s in a 24 inch barrel

Are all you 300wsm guys using Magnum primers?

I havent found primers to make a difference. I use fed gm215m(large magnum match) but ran out and used some 210 large rifle primers and they werent any different. Using 165 targex now. Theyr my most accurate with 67.3 of rl-17 and 2.865 oal. 3230fps. Same hole at 100m 4 shots. Get the odd flyer but theyr never off by over 1moa

Sent you a pm on my loads but just in case it didnt show, 69gn Winchester 760 ball powder with a mag primer and a 168 amax, this load was developed for your gun but shot exceptionally well in my remmy 700.
    Good luck
