    Mixing powder LOT numbers

Has any one just soup mixed there powder (same name Ie. 2206h) together?

I’ve got a few tubs of 2206 most are half full or lower. But if I mixed em all together I would have about 2kg of the same composition/compound.

Doing this would give me a steady “lot” to work with for quite some time.

Is it advisable to do so?

Just did as you described with 3 lots of RL26.... seems pretty common practice from my research. Obviously only mixing same powder not different types!

Yup I have done this before, obviously just check your load compared to previous performance and adjust accordingly

Mix thoroughly, that’s the key. Tumbling, inverting, shaking.
Try to keep the quantity in container to less than half full to enable good mixing. Or use a bigger container.

Yep. Done so for years. Usually a small remnant quantity mixed into a newly opened container. All comments above are valid.

When you mix don't shake vigorously, just put in a big non static container and 'roll mix' to blend them all in. Shaking the crap out of powder can knock the coating about and also break grains up increasing the surface area. Neither really desirable...

    Yep, 3 into 1 and 1 into 3
It takes 20 barrels of water to make 1 barrel of beer...
