Not a Tikka but a Sako Creedmoor so same barrel I use 143 ELDX or Nosler 142 LRAB with RL26 at 2777fps from a 20" barrel seated to max mag length.

41.5gr seems to be a sweetheart load with that pill that you'll find online. And people on here are obviously getting away with going much, much hotter than that. Suggests that the published data is very conservative.

But still... I hope you're planning on doing something resembling a workup rather than simply cloning someone else's load and going for broke
Obviously depends on the particular rifle. I remember Greg Duley using 140gr bullets with 45 grs of AR2209 and getting excellent accuracy at 2,800 fps. But of course always safety first. Certainly, start out under 40grs of AR2209/H4350 with the 140gr bullet and work up.

In my particular rifle the 143gr ELD-X loaded .020 off the lands has a C.O.L. of 2.920 and it fits comfortably in the my Tikka M+ magazine.

My old tikka 260 with a la bolt stop and mag was 45.5gr of 2209 behind a 140eldm doing 2775 and very accurate. Epic rig
