    Sideshow...I looked at the rim that had been formed by the extra push it had had applied and thought it looked somewhat like something....phalic....a Tobyfied round LOL.

    on the wall infront of my reloading bench at eye height is the simple set up chart that comes with die sets from LEE....still refer to it when putting them in press.

    My thoughts:

    Use the proper case neck expander.

    Use case lube.

    Lee full length sizing dies work your brass hard. Be sure to use enough case lube.

    Always measure total case length after resizing using Lee full length dies.

    Do not push the case shoulder down unless it's out of spec or won't fit your chamber. Too much head space is very bad. Very very bad.

    Trim cases to proper length.

    Consider using a neck sizing die and just sizing the neck of brass that's been fire formed to your chamber. The brass will last longer.

    You should feel virtually no resistance when using the seating die.

    Buy the appropriate go, no-go gauges and use them.
