That was one consideration @Wingman - but a huge consideration is also that the altered dimensions mean that a 6.5 Grendel round chambered in error won't allow the bolt to go into battery and fire. That would be exciting in all the wrong ways. When careless users are happily picking up magazines full of 300 Blackout and inserting then into a 223 and blowing it up, imagine how much simpler it would be to confuse 6.5 Grendel and 6mm ARC!

That could never happen.. the neck of a 6.5 grendel case would never go into the neck of a 6mm chamber even with a really big hammer.. bit like trying to fit a .308 into a 7mm-08 chamber.. it just wont go.

Let me find out and report back.
They were supposed to be here 2 years ago with the .350 Legends. I see all the new mags coming in lately now have it written on them so it must be happening

    End of the year. Maybe.

I spoke with my mate at Outdoor Sports a couple of weeks ago and asked him the question. He said to check in with him in early November and he should have a pretty good idea of when they will be distributing to retailers.

    Poor mans 6mm PPC!

great little cartridge and extremely versatile. Better varmint round than a 223. gives nothing away to the 243, in fact probably better as its 1:8 so can shoot 105, that factory 243's cant

if only Tikka would chamber for it!, or Howa make left hand mini action!@#$%
