You will have trouble getting cast HP's to feed in an AR the feed ramp needs to be altered or the flat profile of the nose jambs into the ramp
not many people want to mess with AR feed ramps, There is a mould maker trying to design a 235 grain HP for the AR platform been at it
for a few years has not been successful yet I have my name down for one if they are ever made not holding my breath,
the Nosler 220 grain subsonic is your best option.

Interesting, large HPs could be a problem but never had problems with smaller ones like the Speer 130 gr HP varmint bullet. Also the 220 grain cast lee projectiles have a blunt end but feed well. In all my experiences with semi autos, the AR M4 style feed ramps seem to be the least problematic with bullet shape.
