Just at the range and mates rifle had maybe a quarter of his corelokts splitting at the neck.
Weirdly the bornady ssts were being sticky and bolt stuff.
Anyone got any clue what might cause this?

Sounds like to much of something
Overkill is still dead.
Oil or cleaning fluid in the chamber, causes pressure
Shut up, get out & start pushing!
How old is the ammo?, Old ammo can fuse the projectile to the brass, causing high pressure, split necks, bumping a projectile in the case, to break the fusing between brass and jacket, is a good idea on very old ammo,
Most of the time I've had trouble, we are talking a couple decades or more.
If the rifle is running a suppressor then it will probably be a carbon ring. Just use a bronze brush the size of the brass neck (1 or 2 calibre bigger than bore) on a rod in the drill. Scrub neck of chamber and a bit of the throat.
Cheers guys. Ammo is old ish. But nothing terrible. Rifle doesn't fire a huge amount so surprised if it's build up. I'll suggest it gets a good clean. Seemed odd it was doing that whole at the same time the superformance 150ssts were causing a very tight bolt.
