One Powder to rule them all.

    Or maybe 2?

With powders getting hard to obtain except Belmont basically, I was hoping to get one or maybe two powders to suit a variety of larger case, smaller diameter cartridges, i.e 22.250, 6mm Remington, 6.5 PRC and .257 Weatherby everything else will work with W748 and W 760. So I'm interested in IMR 4166, 4451 and 7977 they seem to tick the right boxes but I cannot find any real world information out there.

So does anyone run these powders and is able to comment on how they go?

    Thanks.

W760 will also work in the 22-250

I can't comment on those powders but I can run everything accurately from 223 to 9.3x62 on 2208 and 2209.

I would have thought that these two would be rather easier to get than American powders, but I have no basis in truth saying that just an assumption.

2209 will work in most. RE26 seems versatile having used it in 243 and 280AI.

Yes, BP is a safe way to do a reduced load in any cartridge, just leave no air space and rinse immediately after.

There is also "The Load" of 13 grains of Red Dot or similar.

I only use two powders, MIR3031 in .308, .3030, and .45-70 which I also use gun powder in and it all goes boom.
