HI, I wonder if there is anyone in the Central Otago area that handloads and sell handloaded ammunition, My wife would kick me out if I started buying the gear needed to do it myself.
Thanks Lars

Ask for a press for Christmas
If you buy the projectiles, powder, primers, brass, and bring offer beer/tokens, you might get lucky and find someone nearby that'll let you use their equipment and show you how it's done.
Resident 6.5 Grendel aficionado.
What he said wait how far is near by lol what cal u loading for?
It is for 6.5 PRC, I am keen to try something that isn't Hornady ELD-X (which is pretty hard do find at the moment), and I have no problem buying projectiles, powder, primers and brass and of course pay for the job done, plus beers
U would need dies as well or someone that has dies for that call
Maybe you could swap wife for reloading set up
I'm fairly certain Desert guns Cromwell does offer such a service.
Owner is a real good sort.
There was a fellow here in Chch that used to handload for customers. You did not so much "buy " the ammo, as pay him to load it for you. I do not know if he is still operating as it was a while ago now and the new law changes mat have stopped it being viable....
The basic Lee Challenger kit is around $350, (gunworks) add to that some dies and maybe add a trickler for fine tuning (or make one as they are not terribly complicated)
What are you paying per box of ammo? GC has it at about $100 per box of 20 so I doubt it will take much to justify the set up....
Second hand is the way and the light with a simple press, and most of the stuff you will need.
Use enough gun
Im in Wanaka and reload for 2x 6.5 prc, pm me and we could discuss what you need in primers , powder etc.
Should be around this weekend.
