Also note the circular witness mark on the case head of both the 30-06 Springfield and the Norma .243.

These could also be interpreted as a sign of pressure.

thanks for the great pics Pete. I have a very faint version of one of the ejector marks on the suspected overpressure case.

I'm sure I'm just bring a Nana about it but you cant be too careful about these things.

Explosion next to your face? Pretty sure being a nana doesn't come in to it.

I didn't clean the oil out of my barrel well enough and it created enough pressure to push a primer out. Interesting extracting the case and then picking out a primer.
